Paros Island
Paros is the third largest island in the Cyclades with a population of about 15,000 permanent residents. The capital of the island is Parikia where the commercial and passenger port is located. In the center of Parikia is the old market with its beautiful paved alleys and its traditional settlements. At the highest point of the market dominate the Venetian castle and the chapel of St. Constantine, which they were built in the 13th century.
One of the most important sights of Parikia is the church of Panagia Ekatontapyliani, the most famous church of Paros and Greece, dating back to the 4th century.
In Parikia, the entertainment options are countless as there are many traditional taverns, restaurants, cafes and bars for every taste along the seaside road and in the alleys. Many beaches are located in Parikia, such as Livadia, Krios, Marcello, Kaminia, Parasporos and many others. Scattered all over the Paros island there are dozens of villages worth visiting during your holidays on the island. The main ones are Naoussa, Aliki, Ageria, Piso Livadi, Lefkes, Kostos, Ambelas, Drios and others.Perimetrically of Paros island there is a big number of beautiful beaches and beach bars. The most famous are Santa Maria in Naoussa, Kolimbithres, Golden Beach, Faragas, Punda and Agia Irini.
How to come to our island
Paros island can be visited either by ferries that arrive daily from the port of Piraeus and the neibour islands or from the new airport of Paros island which operates 40 minutes flights from the national airport in Athens as well as from Heraklion.The airport is located 9km away from the town of Paroikia. Paros is also connected by direct flights to other international airports.

Watersports in Paros Island
Including in its holidays in Paros, one can also engage in water sports. At Golden Beach, Punda and Santa Maria there are windsurfing and kite surf schools. Golden Beach also has a dive school, and last there is a school of water skiing and many marine games at Kolimbithres.
